the endless circle of ideas

Do you remember this joke? Yes, it was Marc Jacobs. The elegant answer from Phoebe Philo is also well known.
Well, I thougth, if these designer can be inspired by ordinary folks, why can not ordinary folk be inspired by the big designers?

I bought the right bag, big enough for some possible mistakes, and spend about 2 hours at my sewing machine. That's what I got.

Et voilà - here is my new clutch, just a small thing that manages to connect the creativity of the big designer and the functionality of one of the cheapest tools used by many nameless salesmen everywhere in the world.

pink is a new black

Is there any fashionista in the world who will pass this winter without a pale pink oversized coat? I think there is not.

Yes, I can not believe it too but my thermometer shows +18 C. So, these pictures were taken in September, but I could put on the same outfit today easily.

shaken AND stirred, please!

Do you like printed tights as much as I do? Here are some styles of mixed prints exactely how I usually wear it, from the most excessive and overloaded way to the calm version. I see it as a small fight against the cold weather and grey sky, but under the bright shining sun it looks good too.

culture mix

Speaking about my feelings in this outfit I'd call it "Geisha" - tight skirt, small steps, thick soles... But if I look at the prints I immediately think of Africa.

flowers? checked!

The mixing madness continues - I still think that the last Givenchy collection was one of the best for Fall 2013. Now I finally got all I need to wear it my way. Here it is.

sometimes you need just one dress to follow a thousand trends

Who made it? You name it.

It can be styled in a million ways. For example here are two possibilities to wear it grunge-esque:

...for the soft version - add a beanie, a leather jacket and a wide belt on your waist.

...if you prefer something more authentic, for a homage to Kurt Cobain you need a sailor shirt, a knitted cardigan and some glitter.

new season, new inspirations

...and new DIY projects.

I was so happy to see this dress at the last issue of the BURDA Magazin - it can be sewed in so many different ways, you can use silk (which is pretty obvious), or wool, wich is really In right now - you know, masculine fabrics, feminine cuts.

As you see I prefer the second option. Why not?

Finally found!

I've been desperately searching for the right dotted skirt for ages! Really, because since I saw this picture on Style.com in February 2010, I could not sleep anymore. Okay, the part with insomnia it's not exactely true, but I wanted something similar to the Dolce & Gabbana creations for Fall 2010 very, very much.

And finally! Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce to you The Right Dotted Skirt.

I have so many ideas how I can wear it! I started with only two, a grunge and a lady, but after three and a half years of dreams there are no limits, you know.

Blue skirt part II

I can't stop to wear this beautiful creation of ZARA. Every printed t-shirt or jacket in my closet looks good with it, really. Here is an another "happy couple" - my favorite old t-shirt with digital roses and - yes, the skirt again.

Blue skirt

There are some things in the shopping-world you can not resist. This blue skirt is one of them. I felt in love immediately at the moment I saw it, so I had to buy it. Since then "feeling blue" means "to wear the beautiful ZARA-skirt"!
