Cherryblossoms

Every year at the beginning of spring I desperately wait for this time - one of the most beautifull thing you can see on the trees, the cherryblossoms. It happens right now in Hamburg and the town is all covered with tender pink blossoms. It's a very short period of time, soon all of this fabulous flakes will lay on the pavement.

...and it will be beautiful too.

 

I'm walking on sunshine oh oh!

The spring is finally in Hamburg! Well "finally" is actually not exactly correct - to have 20 degrees in the beginning of March makes "suddenly" more appropriate. Anyway - it's warm outside and I spotted cherryblossoms today. The spring is here and that's great!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Orchids in January

Why not? Especially if they are made of metal as for the bracelet, or of leather as for the earclips. Or maybe they are just printed on the fabrik of the blouse? I think that orchids are beautifull in any form and colour.

 

 

 

 

Have your ever visited the past?

My very good friend and undescribingly talented photograph Lilya Cornely always dedicate her bithday party to some Fashion decade. This year she chose Roaring Twenties with all that Jazz. Well, what can I say? It felt just like a real trip with a time mashine.

Speaking about my feelings in this outfit I'd call it "Geisha" - tight skirt, small steps, thick soles... But if I look at the prints I immediately think of Africa.

The mixing madness continues - I still think that the last Givenchy collection was one of the best for Fall 2013. Now I finally got all I need to wear it my way. Here it is.

Blue skirt part II

 

I can't stop to wear this beautiful creation of ZARA. Every printed t-shirt or jacket in my closet looks good with it, really. Here is an another "happy couple" - my favorite old t-shirt with digital roses and - yes, the skirt again.

 

 

Großkariert

 

Am vergangenen Wochenende war das Wetter in Hamburg richtig schrecklich. Kalt und ungemütlich, der Regen wollte gar nicht aufhören und nachdem ich die erste halbe Stunde auf der Straße verbracht habe, kreisten meine Gedanken mit besonderer Zärtlichkeit um die Handschuhe. In der weiteren halben Stunde habe ich so gefroren, dass ich an gar nichts mehr mit Zärtlichkeit denken konnte – nur fluchen und die scheußliche Kälte hassen.

Seit gestern scheint bei uns mal wieder ab und zu die Sonne und somit kann man sich wieder den sommerlichen Stylingsideen widmen. Die Tatsache, dass die Sales bald anfangen werden, macht solche Gedanken nur noch schöner – der Sommer hat noch nicht mal angefangen, aber bald kann man schon alles, was man dafür braucht, für den halben Preis haben. Und nicht nur haben, sondern auch noch lange genug tragen – vorausgesetzt, das Wetter spielt mit.

Normalerweise versuche ich vernünftig zu sein und mir am Anfang der Modesaison die Sachen aussuchen, die ich dann erst beim Schlussverkauf kaufe. Manchmal aber verliebt man sich in irgendetwas und muss dieses Etwas sofort haben. So geschah es mit der karierter Bluse von ZARA, die schon im Februar mein Herz erobert hat. Im Februar war es für sie natürlich noch zu kalt. Im März auch. Die ganze Zeit lag sie in meinem Kleiderschrank, aber im April habe ich sie nach Italien mitgenommen und jetzt hat sie auch endlich Hamburg kennengelernt.
